What is a reform-compliant electronic invoice?

Asof September 1, 2026, electronic invoicing, as it is understood today, i.e. based on an invoice scanned as a PDF file and sent by e-mail, will not be compliant with regulations.

A reform-compliant electronic invoice must :

  • comply with a given format (UBL, CII , Factur X ...)
  • include the required information for an invoice in a given format in dedicated fields
  • be transmitted to the customer via an Authorized Platform, which is a private company working in partnership with the government.

From this electronic invoice, data will be transmitted to the administration (directly by the PDP managing invoice transmission).
